My name is Alan Michael Rice, and after years of being a classically trained Actor, budding indie Writer/Producer/Director et alia, I concocted a screenplay that is designed to be cheap to make and appeal to as wide an audience as possible while not cutting corners with the true raw grittiness that a film such as the one I'm about to describe deserves: A substitute teacher meets a young woman at a college Halloween party who is there to find the bastards who murdered her little sister and shoot them all in the face. Already placing high in 4 International Screenplay Competitions, THE MOTEL ON ZZYZX ROAD is a dark comedy, thriller, action, horror flik with everything, and everyone: inclusion is a mainstay of the Production and the mission statement of ricecake films, LLC, and there are parts for every race, gender, size, shape and sexual orientation - no Token parts, just characters with their own lives in the world of Zzyzx Road.

I have a pitch deck already created that fully explains the story, the characters, and lists strategies for a strong ROI . The budget listed in the deck is $1.5 million, which is my over all goal for the film. This could be a cult classic with the right elements in place.
